Solution Descriptions*


Structured Interviewing includes all four items below:

Live Interviewing: Real-time, web-based, phone, or in-person interviews between a candidate and one or more interviewers, typically pre-scheduled at a specific day and time. Interviewers can evaluate candidates and share their scores and comments with other interviewers.

OnDemand Interviewing: Structured asynchronous interviews that present the candidate with a set of predefined questions. The candidate uses a browser and/or mobile device to capture their responses to job-specific questions. Candidates can complete these interviews when it is convenient for them. Evaluators can score candidates’ responses at their convenience and comment with other interviewers.

Phone Interviewing: Provides a convenient way for candidates to complete on-demand interviews through an automated phone call.

Builder: Enables recruiters and coordinators to create structured interviews for Live and OnDemand interviews. Users first select a job role. Builder then leverages the O*Net database and proprietary HireVue data to recommend competencies, questions, and evaluation criteria for that job role. Each competency and question is researched and vetted by IO psychologists to reduce bias, offer legal defensibility, and improve the predictability of hiring outcomes by bringing structure to the interview process.

Includes Realistic Job Previews, a highly configurable feature that include video and other media, which gives candidates a more complete understanding of what a job entails.

 

Messaging

Text Interviewing and Pre-Screening: Asynchronous text-based interview and pre-screening questions that candidates can respond to via their mobile device. In addition to traditional email invitations and reminders, candidates can also receive invitations and reminders via their mobile devices. Subject to country availability.

Direct Messaging: Direct Messaging allows companies to reach out to candidates 1-1 or in bulk to easily communicate company’s opportunities. Direct Messaging includes message templates for bulk text campaigns and the ability to upload candidate lists.

 

Integrations

Standard & Advanced ATS Integrations: HireVue has partnered with ATS vendors and additional third parties to provide customers with the ability to invite candidates to an interview, assessment, and/or workflow directly from the ATS or candidate CRM. In most integrations, users can invite candidates to single or multi-stage workflows, view the status of individual stages, review the results from action links directly within the system of record, and see the progression of candidates through the HireVue workflow. Some of our partners offer additional integration automation functionality available in certain subscription packages. Please ask your sales representative for details.

Standard Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration: Enables customers’ staff to login to HireVue products using a standard SSOintegration, facilitated via SAML 2.0.

 

Assessments

Pre-Built Assessments: Assessments authored by HireVue for specific job roles across multiple industries and customers. Assessments increase the quality of hiring decisions by evaluating candidates’ fit for a specific role. Some light HireVue IO Psychology involvement and minor contextualization is included. The package includes assessments for up to two job families. Assessment types can include Virtual Job Tryouts, Games, Interview (OnDemand, Text, and Phone), and Coding challenges.

Tailored Assessments: Curated assessments to match the customer's specific needs, with HireVue IO Psychologist involvement and contextualization. Assessment options can include Virtual Job Tryouts, Game-based assessments, Interview (OD, Text & Phone), and Coding challenges.

Find My Fit: Pre-application assessment that determines candidates’ interests, motivations, and drivers to match them to open roles in the customer’s organization. Typically delivered through a web chatbot located on the customer’s Careers page.

 

Scheduling

Scheduling: HireVue’s scheduling solution is an automated candidate self-scheduling tool for interviews and events. It integrates with calendar services such as Office 365 and Google Calendar, and includes highly configurable communications including text invites and reminders for candidate engagement. Calendar integrations subject to platform availability.

 

Hiring Assistant

Hiring Assistant: Conversational AI chatbot that matches candidates to roles at a company and can answer common FAQs. This solution includes:

    • Text to apply – candidates can text a number and receive back static link options to websites or job postings

    • Job matching with candidate resume upload or position of interest search

Typically implemented on a customer’s Careers page. Subject to platform availability.

Post Offer Engagement: Up to five templated responses triggered from a standard ATS integration (if available) to remind candidates to complete onboarding actions or to keep them “warm” until their start date.

Language Proficiency Test 

Language Proficiency Test (LPT) and related Services are an online test that evaluates Candidates in reading, writing, listening and speaking proficiency in a given language. Candidates respond to open-ended questions that mimic scenarios they will encounter in the role.
